This B&B really has the ‘wow’ factor in terms for location, setting, service and guest offering. It was a closely fought category but this year’s winner is…Harrop Fold Farm.

This was the only self-catering unit we saw with a special magic – nothing to do with plasma TV screens etc, more to do with imaginative restoration of the cottage, making the most of natural materials and beautiful simplicity.

This is a very stylish and comfortable B&B. Their passion and attention to detail are obvious. From the homemade cake and scones, to the toiletries and wine, to the handmade cards for guests who are here for special occasions. The guests are all offered a warm and friendly experience. I am pleased to announce the winner is Harrop Fold Farm.
