Taste of Cheshire -
British Regional Food Weekends.
Arrive
on Friday afternoon/evening in time to relax, maybe take a cup of
tea and sample a Cheshire Soul Cake before enjoying a delicious
Cheshire Supper with wine to begin a wonderfully relaxing weekend.
Saturday
morning wake up to
a magnificent Aga cooked choice of breakfast using
the finest local ingredients, our free-range eggs and our homemade
preserves.
Saturday
will offer you a day of choices:
If you wish to pursue the gourmet theme you might enjoy
discovering for yourself some of the finest food of the region.
A tasty ‘Food Trail’ detailing
locally produced foods and delicious English delicacies is
available, and dates of the Farmers’ Markets are detailed along
with routes. You
may choose to visit the Cheshire Smokehouse or the award-winning
Hollies Farm shop to browse for a tasty souvenir of your weekend
and enjoy lunch in their restaurants.
Or perhaps you may venture into the Derbyshire Peaks to
visit the Chatsworth Farm
Shop, with its delicious restaurant.
If you would prefer a guided ‘Food Trail’ with lunch,
this can be arranged.
Perhaps
you may prefer a day of fresh air and walk one of the many
footpaths from our door. However,
you might simply wish to relax and unwind in our comfortable
guests’ sitting room.
Then
return to bathe and prepare for your evening treat!
Your
day will end with a delicious
Cheshire dinner. You will be welcomed with an aperitif
and gifts from the kitchen, and this will be followed by a
sumptuous 6 course
Best of Cheshire Dinner, accompanied with wines selected
especially for the evening, followed by coffee and our hand made
chocolates.
Sunday
morning wake to a delicious Sunday Brunch before heading off home,
hopefully feeling totally indulged and relaxed.
Perhaps
you cannot join us for the Friday evening and would prefer to
arrive in time for Afternoon Tea on Saturday, prior to dinner.
That’s fine – we just hope you will join us and enjoy Harrop
Fold and the best Cheshire has to offer!

- from £200 per person, 2 nights/ £110 per person, 1 night.
This price includes a regional food hamper in your room.
