This spacious 17th Century Barn Conversion sleeps up to 6 in two en-suite bedrooms.  This former barn been sympathetically converted, retaining many original features, with breathtaking views over the Cheshire Plain towards the Welsh Mountains.  Situated on the owner's smallholding with livestock, there are excellent walks from the door, including the Gritstone Trail.

Throughout the barn there is a wealth of exposed timbers.  The entrance hall and kitchen have stone-flagged floors and sitting room has been carpeted.   Whilst upstairs the flooring is reclaimed pine with bedside rugs.

On confirmation of booking, details will be sent out regarding local food delivery to help make your arrival easier. 

Ground floor:

  • Galleried Entrance Hall with doors leading left to:  

  • Sitting room, with wood burning stove, sofa, chairs and coffee tables, television, & DVD; and right to:

  • Kitchen and Dining Area, with electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Pine tables and chairs, sideboard and dresser. 

  • A door leads out to the terrace and car parking area.

    Open tread wooden stairs lead up to

    First floor:  with a Galleried Landing serving two bedrooms

  • Double bedroom with beautiful four-poster bed, and a single bed with additional rollaway bed, may be used as a double/twin or family room, sleeping up to 4 people, en-suite bathroom.

  • Double bedroom with an antique oak wooden bed head, with en-suite bathroom.  The additional rollaway single bed from the other bedroom may be used in here to create a twin/family room sleeping up to 3 people.

  • Terrace with wooden table and chairs offering spectacular views and separating the cottage from our open farmland.

  • Car parking for 2 cars.

  • Friday to Friday bookings and short breaks are available - Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday.

  • Arrival times are after 3 p.m. Checkout by 10 a.m.

  • All electricity is included as is the first basket of fuel for the fire, bed linen (duvets) & towels.
